Day 2

Day 2 has just begun and already we're getting some interesting details on where Dynamics deployments have been focused on.

Ireland.com is using Dynamics as their core CRM system and it is just mind-blowing what goes on in Social Marketing today. Brian Harte has caught my attention and I should be visiting pretty soon :)

Today's sessions promise quite a lot so here are my options for this morning.

English Teaser

For all those who've been asking for it, here goes my English Teaser. Enjoy

Mobility Options

Guess where I am going next. Seen quite a few mobility options for Dynamics. Want to know the best options

Good morning CRMers

So we just had the morning wake up call by Bob Stutz who brought us fresh news about his own vision of what Dynamics CRM should be and what it is planned to be. Bob has been in CRM for ages, from Siebel to Sap and now Dynamics, Bob has been in all of these.

From a fresh new Sales dashboard (Polaris release) for a streamlined experience (no popups, less clicks, and an all in one display of the most important information) to the iPad version being released sometime during the following week.

We also saw the roadmap for the following releases which include, amongst others, Android support for all those Android fans out there.

Yes, there was also an apology for all the broken promises of multi-browser support during 2012, but Microsoft Dynamics is finally on track an spreading their reach to all devices. Don't release something if it isn't up to par, that's Bob's rule. If that is any indication of what is to come, we can expect great things.

Tune into Twitter @Destineo for constant updates from the sessions or check in here for some more summarized info.

When in Rome, do as the Romans

So I finally arrived @ the hotel (Marriott Rome Park) about an hour after the "official" check-in time for the event closed. Luckily, there were still a whole lot of latecomers so I managed to pick up my welcome kit before heading up to my room then down again for some dinner.

The kit is pretty cool, since it is mainly made up of pamphlets from the several sponsors and exhibitors at the event.

I'll be looking through them and tomorrow I'll pop in to visit their booths.

As for my schedule tomorrow, if you've taken a look at the Agenda you can see it's packed with juicy sessions. I have already chosen a few I consider "Must-Gos" but others I really can't choose which ones I should attend. That's where you come in, and help me choose :)

Until 12h15, the agenda is fixed and then the fun begins.

From 12h15 - 12h45 (during Lunch) I'll be on the Extend track and view the Multi Channel Marketing Data and CRM session.

At 13h I'm jumping to Sell and will be attending The Promise and Perils of Selling Software with Services.

At 14h30 I'm undecided and leave it up to you to choose where I should go, although I am tempted to go to Deploy and check out the Mobility Options. (Use the comment section or Twitter (@Destineo) to tell me where you'd like me to go.)

At 16h00 I'm really interested to see what Microsoft's Vision for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Partners is (Sell)

And to end the day, at 17h30, should I go Sell or Deploy ? You choose.

I'll be keeping you up to date on what each session delivers, so STAY TUNED.

Slow start

On board, finally and only 30 mins late. Next stop, Rome.
